Reminder that when seeing a completed task with the checkmark in the progress bar, it usually means that the teacher just needs to manually grade it.

Regina Catholic Schools is pleased to share the news of approval to maintain operating our successful Learning Online school.
In the wake of the formation of the province’s Distance Learning Corporation (DLC), applications for exceptions are available to Catholic school divisions. RCSD has successfully completed this process. RCS Learning Online met the Ministry of Education’s Quality Assurance Framework for an online school, a compliment to many years of building and refining this high-quality program.
For the 2022-2023 school year, Learning Online provided elementary education, as well as about 1,200 secondary courses.
There is no cost to RCSD students to participate in classes through Learning Online during the school year. There is an opportunity to register for summer school classes to catch up or get ahead in their academic journey. Summer courses are available for a fee. We are blessed to have support from United Way Regina for some students to take summer courses.

Student led, teacher supported, and innovative—Catholic education beyond the classroom.
Since 2009, Regina Catholic Schools Learning Online has provided faith-based distance education opportunities to students residing in Regina and the surrounding area. Learning Online has teachers based at all Regina Catholic High Schools as well as at Vanier Collegiate in Moose Jaw with the program office at the Catholic Education Centre. Over 50 grade 9 to 12 courses are offered in Business Education, Catholic Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Sciences, Health and Wellness, Technology and French Immersion.
Learning Online's courses are asynchronous and provide students with course access anytime and anywhere they have internet access. This flexibility allows students to take control of their learning and provides them with an individualized learning experience. As students work through course resources, activities, and assessments, they will be supported by a Learning Online teacher.
To support Regina Catholic elementary students, Learning Online has expanded programming to include grades 1 - 8. This program is an asynchronous online school that will focus on creating connections and community while meeting curricular outcomes.
